We hire seasonal, part time staff (10 hour minimum) each sale season. Returning staff are given first preference to the schedule then we hire additional staff as needed. 5:00pm Family shop time! We open to the public so working families can shop early too!! FREE ADMISSION & NO TICKET NEEDED to shop our family shop time 5pm – 8pm on opening day. Kids & strollers welcome after 5pm. Kids MUST remain with parents at all times and not permitted to roam, run around & play with items on sales floor. Please be kind & respectful! Families that sell with us have worked hard to bring you great quality items so please don’t let kids rip open bags or play with toys, etc.

How to join the VIP Shop club: when you spend $200 or more in a single transaction, you will receive a free large Coastal Kids VIP Shopper black logo bag. That bag is your early shopping pass for ALL future Coastal Kids sales. It’s more than just an awesome bag…It’s your PRESALE PASS FOR LIFE!!

No refunds, exchanges or returns–no exceptions. Please inspect items carefully before purchase. We have several inspection stations for your convenience so please do not sit or inspect items on the floor.
Shopper Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an entry fee?
No, admission during public shop time is free for shoppers!
What if I buy something, get it home and find it damaged or it doesn’t fit?
All sales are final, no refunds, returns or exchanges. Please carefully inspect all items before purchasing. We have several inspection stations throughout the sales floor giving you space to look items over & leave any “no thank you” items at the station and our staff will return the item to the floor for you. If you purchase an item, get it home and the item is the wrong size, or not to your liking, you are welcome to sell it at our next sale or bless another family via a local charity drop off.
Do I need to bring anything with me to shop?
Wagons are amazing shopping tools. We also have a few shopping carts & large IKEA bags for shoppers to use but you are welcome to bring empty totes/bags. We suggest a list of your kids’ sizes and needs, a tape measure for larger items, a cardboard cutout of your child’s foot for shoe sizes (what fun for them to make!). Friends don’t let friends shop alone so bring one or two with you and make it a “girl’s day out”!!
Shoppers may bring in strollers of ANY size on public sale days (not during presales though). No diaper bags, back packs or purses larger than the size of a regular 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, etc. All strollers & bags will be checked upon entrance and exit so please be prepared to lift those cute little baby bums so we can check that all purchases made it through the check out stations. Our consignors appreciate your understanding and for purchasing their items!
May I bring a shopping bag, diaper bag, backpack or purse?
Large empty shopping bags (bring more than 1) encouraged since we do not provide bags at checkout.
No diapers bags, back packs or large purses permitted while you shop so please plan accordingly and leave them in the car (we cannot hold them for you). All bags and strollers will be checked at the door upon exit. A purse/bag/backpack is considered large if it is bigger than a regular sheet of paper (8.5×11). Empty shopping bags ok just no personal bags mentioned above.
May I bring my kids to the public sale?
Absolutely! Kids are always welcome during public sale days. No children or strollers during ticketed Pre-sale day. Infants (under 24 months)may be worn (not carried) on presale day.
Please keep in mind that the sale will be very busy & crowded and for their safety, children must be accompanied by an adult and stay with them at all times. All bags and strollers will be checked upon exit. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Do you take credit cards or checks?
Cash and Visa/MC/Discover and Apple/Samsung/Google Pay only. No personal or business checks accepted.
